It was found that in six schools MDM was not cooked during the period. 2. In 34.5% schools, food grains were stored in classroom, in 10 % schools food grains were stored in office and in 15% schools in store 2. In 30% schools, food was cooked in classroom, in 47.5% schools food was cooked in open area and in 12.5% schools food was cooked at other places. Bhiwani 1. In 7 schools food grain supply was delayed by one month. 3.Till 31/05/2011, no state level official of MDM had visited the schools for inspection.

25. ISSUES: MI KURUKSHETRA UNIVERSITY, KURUKSHETRA ISSUES: MI KURUKSHETRA UNIVERSITY, KURUKSHETRA Hisar 1. It was found that in four schools MDM was not cooked during the period. 2. In 4 schools food grain supply was delayed by one month. 3. Till 31/05/2011, none of the state level official of MDM had visited the schools for inspection. 4. In 67.5% schools food was cooked in open area and in 27.5% schools food was cooked at other places. Hisar 1. It was found that in four schools MDM was not cooked during the period. 2. In 4 schools food grain supply was delayed by one month. 3. Till 31/05/2011, none of the state level official of MDM had visited the schools for inspection. 4. In 67.5% schools food was cooked in open area and in 27.5% schools food was cooked at other places.

27. ISSUES  Less Utilization of foodgrains. Achievement  Ministry of New and Renewable Energy have issued funds to HAREDA for installing 4 solar cookers in 4 schools of three Districts for cooking Mid Day meal on a pilot basis.
