7 Trade unions of Tata Steel It consists of 25 trade unions at different locations, largest being Tata Workers Union Consultation and negotiation with employers via three-tier system Direct interaction with the MD via online forum Collective bargaining issues are discussed regularly with recognized unions

8 Durgapur Steel Plant One of the largest integrated steel plants of SAIL Set up in the 1950s Current Capacity:2088MT hot metal, 1.8 MT Crude steel,1.58MT saleable steel Entire Plant covered under ISO 9001:2000 Total no of employees -29224 – Workers: 26724, – Executives : 2500
