Basic mechanical assembly. There are often strict assembly, dismantling and ‘shut down’ procedures that must be followed. Be aware of your responsibilities! Select correct tools for the job, Wear correct PPE necessary, Isolate all electrical connections, Drain/relieve systems fully of potential fuel/energy sources i.e. hydraulic/pneumatic supplies, Ensure authorisation is obtained, check with the powers that be! Plan dismantling & assembly operation Clean, check, restore and or replace components
