PCEP extensions for GMPLS CCAMP WG, IETF 79th, Beijing, China draft-ietf-pce-gmpls-pcep-extensions-01 Cyril Margaria Nokia Siemens Networks Oscar González de Dios Telefonica Investigacion y Desarrollo Fatai Zhang Huawei Technologies
2
Differences from 00.txt Add support for explicitly requesting Label information Extended generalized bandwidth support to LOAD-BALANCING Align GENERALIZED-BANDWIDTH with RFC6003 requirement Allows for private TLVs in ENDPOINT
3
Routing granularity Present as a flag in the RP Indicate what is the information (node, link or label) expected in the ERO Allow a PCC to use the Explicit Label Control in signaling
4
GENERALIZED-LOAD- BALANCING Semantic of the LOAD-BALANCING object applied to GENERALIZED- BANDWIDTH Can be used for instance to request co- signaled or diversely routed VCAT components
5

6
Private TLVs Other protocols (RSVP-TE) define private ranges for their object, allowing private extensions This is currently not defined for PCEP, a proposal is to reserve a given TLV range and mandate the use of SMI entreprise code
7
Next Steps the authors solicit the WG experts to review the document and comment. Possible alignment with draft-zhang-pcep- hierarchy-extensions on the PCE capability and Routing Granularitydraft-zhang-pcep- hierarchy-extensions
