1. I believe God exists. I believe God is omniscient (all-knowing). I believe God is personal. I believe God is loving. I believe God is omnipotent (all-powerful). I believe God is sovereignly wise. I believe God is holy. IF I BELIEVE IN PRAYER…

2.  Hebrews 4:15-16 – For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one [Jesus] who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. WHY WE CAN PRAY WITH CONFIDENCE

3.  Psalm 19:1-4 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. 4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, KNOWING GOD THROUGH HIS CREATION

4.  Deuteronomy 8:7-18– For the L ORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.  10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the L ORD your God for the good land he has given you…. 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the L ORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth... PRAISING GOD FOR FOOD AND WEALTH

5.  1 Timothy 6:17-18 – Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. GOD PROVIDES WEALTH… TO ENJOY… TO SHARE
