Producing a logbook consolidation sheet in the correct format 1.Go to www.elogbook.org and clickwww.elogbook.org 2.Login using your GMC number and usual password 3.Select consolidation from the left hand menu 4.Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the check box called “Listed by SAC indicative operation groups (lists only index procedures)” 5.Finally click the download link under normal report next to “no filter applied”download 6.Please send the pdf to the SAC

Criteria for logbooks for CCT 1.Overall Surgical Total – There should be broad exposure across all subspecialty areas – Should be >1200 cases. – 1/3 rd can be Assisted (A), the rest should be Performed (P), Performed with Scrubbed supervision (S-TS), Performed with Unscrubbed supervision (S-TU) or Teaching a more junior trainee (T). – Procedures in the Core skills section and observed procedures do not count towards this total – Paediatrics should be >70, Adults >1130 2.Index cases – There are seven index case groups (see next slides for exactly which procedures are in each group) – Should be >50 in total but please note Assisted (A) and Observed (O) do not count – For each index category there is a defined minimum but again please note Assisted (A) and Observed (O) do not count
