3 Long-Term Installation Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, 4th Floor The Dinner Part y, an important icon of 1970s feminist art and a milestone in twentieth-century art, is presented as the centerpiece around which the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art is organized.

4 Woven into the entry banners are a series of phrases intended to convey Chicago's vision for a equalized world, one in which women's history and perspectives are fully recognized and integrated into all aspects of human civilization. 6 The Dinner Party comprises a massive ceremonial banquet, arranged on a triangular table with a total of thirty-nine place settings, each commemorating an important woman from history.

7 The names of another 999 women are inscribed in gold on the white tile floor below the triangular table.

8 The porcelain plates with raised central motifs, are based on vulvar and butterfly forms and rendered in styles appropriate to the individual women being honored.

9 The seven Heritage Panels are large-scale hand-colored photo-and- text collages that portray the lives of the mythical and historical women whose names are inscribed in the Heritage Floor. Heritage Panels
