6.  Every day the students will start on green.  The students will go up and down based on their behavior.  Purple and Blue = O Red, Green, Yellow = S Orange= N Below = U “TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT. DO THE RIGHT THING.”

7.  You are always welcome to your child for lunch. The Cafeteria staff just asks that we let them know that morning so they can make enough food.  Lunch Money should be sent in an envelope SEPARATE from other notes.  If your child will have a transportation change that day I will need a note.

8. Word Study is on a Unit Basis  Checklist of skills for the unit  Once your child has shown mastery they will move to the next skill  They will show mastery by reading and writing words at 90% accuracy

12.  Homework Read with your child 15- 20 min. nightly Leveled Packet (Due every Friday) Please remember that homework is your child’s responsibility, not yours.  Agenda Students write homework assignments, reminders, and how their day went in their agenda daily. Please check the agenda each night and sign. Agendas should be brought back to school every day. This provides a good communication tool between the teacher and parent.
