7. Chemical Storage Storage of chemicals can be a dangerous mixture Avoid incompatibilities Read labels for warnings and store appropriately

8. Chemical Inventory Requirements MSDS’s must be maintained for each chemical on hand. Every department has a MSDS notebook that must to be kept up to date as new items are purchased, introduced or revised. Employees, new and old, must be trained on new chemicals before use.

9. Chemical Inventory Tips! Every department needs to designate the updating task to one individual. Schedule updates and audits. Limit the introduction of new/trial products. (stick with what works) Store dry products over wet. Protect labels at all cost. Never purchase more than you need.
