3 3 How to use this PowerPoint Read the Awards Eligibility & Judging Criteria Add required text, graphics, photos, video, and or audio to the relevant slides. Follow the naming conventions listed in this document when saving to avoid a delay in your application processing. Upload your media – Once you have completed and submitted the application, you will receive a link to upload this PPT file and any related media files.

4 4 Eligibility Criteria: Only IAAPA members in good standing are eligible to compete in the 2016 Brass Ring Awards: Excellence in Food & Beverage competition. 2016 IAAPA membership dues must be paid in full at time of receipt of entry. All entries become the property of IAAPA and will not be returned. Only one entry per facility, per category, will be accepted. Judging Criteria: The judges will focus on two particular aspects of your program. First, the judges will consider the quality and effectiveness of each program by letting the results speak for themselves. Illustrate how your approach to food and beverage successfully produces results. Next, the judges will be looking for the unique attributes that set your program apart from the rest. Show how your program goes beyond training textbooks, procedures, and forms to create a robust and memorable experience. Illustrate how your program reinforces the values, vision & mission, culture, and branding or theme of your facility. The decision of the judges will be final. Awards will not be given in a category if the judges determine no entries in that category warrant special recognition. Judges may re classify incorrectly submitted entries to the correct category. 31 31 Entry Deadline Entries must be received by IAAPA no later than close of business August 1, 2016. Each IAAPA facility member may submit one entry only in each category. Notification of receipt of the application will be acknowledged and finalists will also receive notification when judges have made their decisions. Attendance to the Awards Presentation is open to all.
