2. What is IACURH?  IACURH is a regional affiliate of a larger organization called NACURH. It represents RHA’s (Residence Hall Associations) from the following states, territories, and countries:  Arizona  Colorado  New Mexico  Alberta  Saskatchewan  Montana  Idaho  Utah  Wyoming  South Africa

3. What is the Purpose of IACURH?  Pillars of the Organization:  Leadership Opportunities  Information Sharing  Networking  Assistance  Recognition  Leadership Development  Professional Development

4. Conferences  IACURH Conference:  This conference is where all of the schools in the IACURH region meet and explore leadership opportunities.  No Frills Conference:  This is where schools in the IACURH region come together to discussion governing legislation and elect IACURH executive members.  NACURH Conference:  This is where all regional affiliates come together to explore leadership opportunities and conduct legislation on a national level.

5. IACURH Conference  IACURH Conferences are the opportunity for students from member schools to unite and conduct legislation and exchange information.  Boardroom : Legislation and award bids are presented in boardroom. Those in attendance vote on these.  Programs: Attendees of the conference have the opportunity to attend seminars on different programs and leadership strategies. They are supposed to implement these programs on their campuses.  End of the Conference Banquet and Award Ceremony: Where awards are given and the conference is officially closed for business.

No Frills Conferences  Purposes:  Elect IACURH Executive Board for the next year.  Review IACURH Governing Documents and approve amendments.  IACURH Constitution:  Vote on Regional Award Bids  Vote on National Award Bids  Vote on future conference hosting bids  Present Regional Awards to winning schools IACURH Video

8. NACURH Conference  NACURH 2014 is set to occur at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.  Conference Theme: Leadership is a Trip  Conference Dates: May 30-June 2 nd  Spirit Competitions:  Roll Call: Schools create a 3-5 minute presentation to introduce themselves to other schools in attendance.  Banner: Schools create a banner to reflect their pride and spirit  Display: Schools create artistic representations of their school pride that associate with the theme of the conference.
