Daily Routine Mornings: 9.00am – Register 9.10-9.30am – Phonics 9.30-10.30am- Free flow Activities 10.30am- Snack 10.40am- Free flow Activities 11.20am- Maths Tasks 11.50-1.00pm- Lunch Afternoons: 1.00pm- Register 1.10pm – Free flow activities 2.00pm- Tidy up time 2.15pm- Get Together 2.30pm- Playtime on the main playground 2.45pm- story time/singing 3.15pm- Home time + 2 PE sessions per week

Things to bring to School Spare clothes- including trousers, t shirt, jumper, underwear and socks Wellies to be kept in school Suitable waterproof coat Book bags, reading records and reading books Water bottle – only water please! Sun hats/cream in summer/warm weather Hat/scarf/gloves in winter/cold weather Please label everything clearly with your child’s name.

Bridger Folders Examples of things to include: Baby pictures Family pictures Favourite foods, colours, TV programmes etc. Leaflets from any visits No bigger than A4 please!

Important Dates Monday 23 rd May 2016 Transition Meeting for Parents (2.30pm in the school hall) Tuesday 5 th July 2016 All children attend for the morning: 9.30am-11.30am Thursday 12 th July 2015 All children attend for the morning: 9.30am-12.30pm (Bring a packed lunch and teddy bear for Teddy Bears Picnic) Monday 18 th July 2016 All children to attend for the afternoon: 12.00-3.00pm (Please bring a packed lunch to eat in our hall) Monday 5 th September 2016All children in 9.30am-3.15pm Tuesday 6 th September 2016All children in full time 8.50-3.15pm

Home Visit’s Informal meeting in the child’s home environment between staff and parents Small booklet for the teacher to complete during conversation Helps aid transition helping children to settle quickly A good opportunity for you to discuss any queries or concerns you have
