Important Forms **All are available on the PTA website** Voucher Request Form Used when you need to pay for something Make sure expense is within your budget Facility Use Form Must be filled out anytime you want to use a room in the building Available in office (see Lori Wood) Need to be submitted as soon as an event is scheduled, but at least 1 month in advance

Important Forms Committee Reports Due the week before each Board meeting. Timely completion allows for Board meetings to run efficiently. Please submit even if all it says is “Nothing to Report”. If you would like to discuss something at the Board meeting, this is how you highlight it. PLEASE contact me if you have an issue/concern so it can be addressed before it becomes a problem. Deposit Request Form For use when you have cash/checks to deposit

Important Forms Budget Itemization Worksheet This is where you say how much you expect your area/group/club to bring in (income) or spend (expense) Last Year’s numbers are a great starting point If your group charges a participation fee, then please provide an explanation for that amount (this is a change for 2016-17). Forms need to be submitted to Cathy Parker and Allison Schmitt by June 17. Information will be compiled, budget will be created over the summer, and reviewed/approved by the Executive Board in August.

Exciting Changes for Next Year Improving communication with parents Creation of Twin Hickory Elementary PTA Facebook page over the summer. Posts will be made weekly. Moving away from a monthly newsletter and toward a weekly email blast format. Email blasts will include “What’s in the Week Ahead” as well as a link to the PTA FB page. Spring Fun Run In conjunction with Field Day in April Ties in with school’s fitness focus and also provides an additional way to fundraise.

To Do List Complete your transition as soon as possible Make sure binder is complete and has current information (documents are available on PTA website) Submit Budget Itemization Worksheet by June 17 th Review your area’s information on the PTA website and send any updates to Ruchi Shrivastava/Daxin Chen
