DEFINING INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN A systematic process used to create instructional experiences with the following goals: facilitating knowledge and skill acquisition in a reliable fashion optimizing efficiency in the delivery of instruction for a variety of learning styles Designing and developing materials to engage learners Effectively reaching a desired behavior or performance level
