Family Care Plan What is it? A plan that provides for the care of family members and personal responsibilities in the event of the Service Member’s absence Why have one? Ensures personal readiness of service member and reduce family-related stress MCO 1740.13A MCO 1740.13A

Requirement for: Active duty, single parent with custody of dependent child/children. Dual military couple with dependents. Active duty responsible for the complete care of another adult family member. Active duty’s spouse is frequently absent due to career/job commitments.
