Communications & Public Relations Publications/Sources of Information Publications/Sources of Information – CCS Website Headlines, Superintendent Monthly Messages, Annual Report, Strategic Plan – Board of Education Meetings 1 st and 2 nd Mondays each month at 6 p.m. Business Meetings – Education Center Work Sessions – Locations Vary – Recorded meetings air on Time Warner Cable Channel 22 on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. – Recorded meetings available for viewing on demand on the Cabarrus County Government’s YouTube channel

Communications & Public Relations Recognitions Recognitions – Awards presented at monthly Board of Education Business Meetings Impact Through Education Awards Hilbish Ford Teacher of the Month – Other Awards Keep us informed as your staff/students receive awards Recognize all state-level (and higher) awards/honors

Communications & Public Relations Community Relations/Charitable Giving/Volunteerism Community Relations/Charitable Giving/Volunteerism – Represent Cabarrus County Schools at community events – Coordinate CCS charitable giving to various organizations: United Way, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, etc. – Coordinate CCS volunteers for various community events
