4. THE “LOOSE”-”TIGHT” Policy: TIGHT: Once a week you meet in the regular classroom according to the hour and section on your schedule: (ALWAYS check Moodle DAILY for potential schedule changes) i.SECTION ONE /6 th hour Monday (hps6m) ii.SECTION TWO / 6 hr hour Tuesday (hps6t) iii.SECTION THREE / 6 th hour Wednesday (hps6w) TIGHT: Every Seminar will begin with a bellringer, which starts at the BELL. If you are not in your desk when the bell rings, you will be marked TARDY.

5. SCHOOL POLICIES will be enforced! TIGHT: Hall passes will be required now that there are NO student planners. You WILL be asked for your pass in the hall. NO passes in my class the first or last 15 minutes of the seminar. If you need a pass you need to write your name and time on the sign out sheet located in the plastic tray near the door. NO backpacks or caps in the rooms OR hallways from 8:35 to 3:05…this will be strictly enforced across the whole school. Put your backpack, purses, and headgear in your locker when you get to school!

6. LOOSE: Thursday is the FLEX DAY…anyone can come to the regular classroom on Thursday during their hour to get help from me. TIGHT: The FLEX DAY becomes a MANDATORY class day if you missed class for ANY reason or if you have ANY late work as of FLEX day…if either of those condition exists…then you MUST ATTEND FLEX day. Failure to attend a mandatory FLEX day will result in an unexcused absence…AND A REFERRAL TO ADMINISTRATION!!!

7. LOOSE: The rest of the week you work online using MOODLE…at your pace, whenever you want! (this is the LOOSE part!) VERY TIGHT!!! You MUST…I repeat…MUST log in to MOODLE at least once a day, EVERY DAY during regularly scheduled school days or you will be considered UNEXCUSED and will be assigned detention just like you were unexcused from any other regular class.

8. LOOSE: You can upload your work to Moodle ANYTIME before your deadline. VERY TIGHT!!! Just like a regular class, your work for the week MUST be turned in (uploaded to Moodle) by the deadline. If you don’t turn in your work for the unit you will not be allowed to take the unit exam!
