Diversified, regional economies are more resilient to market changes Leading with an economic strategy creates opportunities to reach scale with environmental and equity goals Equitable regions are more prosperous Compact communities save money and are more economically sustainable over time Preserving the environment saves money A healthy population saves the community money 3
