Healthy Eating By: Miles Put a Photograph Here
2
You need food from every food group to stay healthy.
3
You should make sure you have 6 ounces of grains each day and they should be whole grains because whole grains give you fiber, carbohydrates and vitamins. Grains give you energy that will last all day, but make sure the label says whole grain, not multigrain, not seven-grain, not 100% wheat, it’s has to be WHOLE.
4
Eat 1½ cups of fruit every day and eat a variety of fruit. One cup of strawberries has more vitamin C than a medium orange.
5
You should have low fat or fat free milk or other dairy like low fat cheese and yogurt.
6
Lean meat is best, like chicken, tuna, teriyaki and other seafood.
7
Don’t you see why you need to eat food from every food group to stay healthy?
8
