Introduction to MOP/OAC 2 Definition - Microsoft Online Portal is an interface from where Partners Admins/Tenant Admins/Users can access their accounts respectively by entering their account credentials. Users of Microsoft Online Portal (MOP) - Partners use MOP to provide support to their clients and help them fixing their issues by accessing the accounts as an admin. - Tenant Admins use MOP to manage their employees/users accounts in Office 365. - Users use MOP to use Office 365 services according to assigned license.

Options available in MOP as a Partner Client Management Build your business Service health 3

Client Management 4 As shown by name, this option is used to manage client accounts. As a Partner Admin we can search our client accounts, manage their users, create support cases towards Microsoft, fix issues with their services etc. There are three criteria for searching an account. 1. Normal search 2. Flagged 3. Recently Accessed Live Demonstration

Service health 5 This new feature allows partners to view aggregated service health across all clients. Workloads are displayed only when there is a service incident that affects your clients.

Searching Criteria 6 We can search a customer/company account in MOP by using following options. - Microsoft Domain name (e-g. test.onmicrosoft.com) - Custom Domain name (e-g. test.com) - Company/Customer name (e-g. Dangroup Holding) - Tenant admin user (e-g. admin@test.onmicrosoft.com)admin@test.onmicrosoft.com We can assign a Flag to the accounts which are important for us and having large account with TBIS. We can search accounts which have been access recently by the admins.

Do’s and Don’ts Do’s: Check user details o Go to Customer Admin portal > Users > Active users > Select user Restore users o Go to Customer Admin portal > Users > Deleted users > Select user > Restore Reset password o Go to Customer Admin portal > Users > Active users > Select user > Reset Password Fix domain error by using Fix option from MOP o Go to Customer Admin portal > Domains > Click Fix Issues and follow the instructions Check Exchange/SharePoint/Skype for Business admin portals o Go to Customer Admin portal > Admin > Click Exchange / SharePoint / Skype for Business 8

Don’ts: Change details of any user on behalf of customer Assign License in MOP Change/Assign Admin rights Change Exchange/SharePoint/Skype for Business settings Change Domain settings Run updates Note: The reason, of not performing these actions, is user experience. All these actions will trigger a change at user’s end and if anything goes wrong then the person who performed these actions will be responsible. It is highly recommended to guide the admins on how to perform such kind of actions and ask them to do it themselves. 9
