2 BC Excellence Scholarship 55 Awards $5000 Well-Rounded Graduates (School & Community Service, Career Path Aptitude) Cannot win Both a BC Excellence and a Pathway to teacher education scholarship

3 BC achievement scholarship Top 3000 bc graduates $1250 Highest cumulative GPA based on Courses counting towards graduation (both required and elective) Cannot win both a Bc Achievement and a Graduations Program Examinations scholarship

4 District/Authority Scholarship 5500 Awards $1250 Excellence in chosen area or strength (Indigenous Languages and culture, Fine Arts, applied skills, physical activity, international languages, community service, technical and trades)

5 Graduation program examination scholarship Final year of this scholarship 5020 awards $1250 Based on Provincial exam average on all five exams Cannot win both a grad program exam scholarship and a bc achievement scholarship

6 Pathway to teacher education scholarship 20 scholarships $5000 Outstanding graduates who have demonstrated commitment and aptitude for a career path in k-12 teaching Cannot win both a pathway to teacher education scholarship and a bc excellence scholarship

7 Passport to education Program is now phased out Students who have previously won a stamp can still redeem them

8 Basic eligibility for the provincial scholarship proram Canadian citizen or permanent resident at the start of the school year Bc resident (information on trax must be correct) Enrolled in public school, group 1,2, or 4 BC independent school, continuing Ed Centre or registered Home school

9 Application deadlines Bc excellence scholarship – school must forward nominees by March 31 st Bc achievement scholarship – Ministry determines winners District/authority scholarship – District will set date for school submission Graduation program examination scholarship – Ministry determines winners Pathway to teacher education scholarship – application must be in by march 31 st

10 Secondary school apprenticeship scholarship Ssa students are eligible $1000 Not administered through the provincial scholarship program
