Time-keeper / Diplomat – responsible for making sure that the task is completed on time and to make sure that all group members contribute fairly and equally.

3. Fraction puzzle. Task 1. (15 mins) In your group work out the answers to the fraction problems and match them up. Once you are sure you can stick the answers down on the sheet provided.

Jenny calculates that this is a percentage increase of 19%. Is Jenny’s percentage correct? You must show how you reached your decision. 21. Task 4. (25 mins) In your group you have 10 minutes to answer the questions on your sheet. After 10 minutes pass the sheet to the next group in a clockwise direction (everyone gets another groups work). Look at the other groups work, correct any errors and attempt any questions that they have left. After 5 minutes pass these on again and repeat until each group has their work back. Spokesperson to feedback to the class any positive outcomes from doing this. Carousel.
