2. Stone Age The bow and arrow allowed humans to exploit animal recourses. Using bone needles, animal hides could be stitched together. Spears with stone heads were invented.

3. Bronze Age Saw the advent of “ring money”, believed to be the first currency. The first scale made by buying and selling commercial goods Bronze weapons and tools created.

4. Iron Age Iron tipped plow blades and iron hand tools like the hoe made agriculture much easier. Guns, columns, sewing machines and agricultural tools invented.

5. Renaissance Advances in optics and the first printing press had tremendous impact on distribution of information. Flash lights, glasses, printing presses invented.

6. Industrial Revolution Unprecedented advances in motorized transportation. Advent of continuous mass production. Motor vehicles, light bulbs, radio, speakers invented. Transportation was made easier.

7. Information age Starting in the 1950’s and continuing today. Era were knowledge and information are an important part of living. Things like sat alights, computers, cell phones etc. were invented.
