Kindergarten Technology Newsletter At the beginning of the year, the Computer Lab supported kindergarten students with learning letter sounds and gaining phonemic awareness. They were learning basic computer skills by learning how to use a mouse to navigate through different windows on the internet. This Trimester Computer Lab supported kindergarten students with basic reading and math skills. They learned to sound out and break down words. They are also reading short stories. They received exposure to language, vocabulary and math through guided and self-guided learning activities. First Grade Technology Newsletter Computer Lab supported First Grade students with basic reading and math skills. They read simple stories through shared reading. They received exposure to language, vocabulary and math through guided and self-guided learning activities. We also worked extensively on Learning to type with Typing Agent.
