4. Next Meetings and New Projects The MEDE was finally awarded. The CCOMC will be an integral part of this over the next 10 years! The next meeting will at Rutgers in the Fall at Clemson, 3 possible dates are: October 3-5, October 10-12 or October 17-19 There will be an armor subgroup meeting in Daytona, Thursday January 31, 2013 8am-2pm. This will be a CCOMC MEDE Review USACA on a Transparent Armor Roadmap for the Ceramic Industry is near completion, interested parties should attend the USACA meeting May 8, 2012 in Washington, DC Both Rutgers and Clemson will be looking to begin new projects in the Fall of 2012. Proposals will be at this meeting. Please make sure to include you comments

Other Center Information The SUNRISE Center at UND joining CCOMC is still in the works CCOMC will hear from Prof. Patrick Kwon, Michigan State University’s Center for Cutting Tool Technology regarding joining Recent PhD defense presentations and theses of Steve Bottiglieri (now at Saint Gobain) and Dan Maiorano (now at GE Space) are on the website One change, Prof. Riman’s talk today had to be done on Wednesday.
