Our Goals, Metrics, and Dates Goals Visit several middle schools around Leon County with a hands-on presentation that will teach the students about the school’s desired topic, for example java coding or database design. Metrics Survey done by teachers and students in attendance Dates February 5  Make contact with designated schools February 8  Meeting with Swiftcreek March & April  visit three or more high schools

Potential Risks Not hearing back from the teacher we contacted Solution: Contact different teachers or try different methods of communication Schedules not lining up within group Solution: sending available members, not everyone has to be in attendance or using members from other groups Students won’t pay attention to us Solution: make presentation more interactive and interesting to our targeted audience

Measuring Success Distributing surveys both before and after the lessons to the students in order to measure the success of the lesson Emailing a survey to the teacher after the lesson in order to see how the lesson was perceived by the teacher Both of the surveys will include questions that will lead to quantitative data that can be measured
