Allergic to revision? Reduce your notes to a manageable pile of index cards Use old exam papers in exam conditions

Study in a group Take a topic each to revise Can get you into a study routine if you find it hard to start!

Nowhere to study? Too many people in the library? Too many distractions on campus?

You could try… Public Bar – works for some Public Library Reference sections - quiet corners no-one ever uses

Time running out? Revise with old exam papers and target key topics Libraries usually have copies of these

Know what markers look for Answering the question. Read it very carefully to see what the answer must include. (e.g. ‘Compare’ requires 2 points of view) Providing evidence Give evidence for statements, and try to use course reading references

Academic Essay Format e.g. key points made and developed with examples in separate paragraphs e.g. logical links as ‘signposts’ between these
