Compensate –verb 1.to behave in a way that emphasizes a particular ability or personality trait in order to make up for a deficiency in another 2.to pay somebody for work done or for something lost. ► Example Sentence: ► Ms. Johnsoncompensated her brother when he bought her lunch. ► NOW….in the batman box, write a sentence using Compensate.
