3. The purpose of this activity is to the develop the philosophy of determinism and free will.

4. Background: Determinism and Free Will  Determinism is the power that is believed to control what happens in the future whatever you do is determined.  Free will is the ability o choose how you act, our not controlled by fate, or God.

5. Data Results A person is just released from jail six months ago. He can’t find a job. He commits another crime. Fate Free Will 18 7 You see a person getting bullied, and you decide to start bullying that person also. 0 25 You got in a fight and you told someone to record it but don’t put it online and they did anyway. 10 15 You’re at school and you found the new Iphone 6 plus on the floor, but knows whose it’s and you decide to keep it. 9 16 A teacher told you your weren’t going to be successful in life because you skip school all the time, so you decided to curse her/he out. 17 8

7. 1.Based on the results of the survey, which philosophy do the people who were surveyed believe? Determinism or Free Will? (Based on the survey many people believe Free Will over determinism, but the number wasn’t that far according to the survey. ) 2. Were you surprised by the results of the survey? Explain why or why not? (No I wasn’t surprised by the results because, I believe in free will also, fate is rarely. 3. How might their believes impact/influence their daily decision making? (Their beliefs in either determinism or free will can impact their lives, in a world of determinism is controlling, in free will you controlled you life, your decision making its all control by YOU!
