Rural/Metro Employee Referral Portal: Step by Step Guide

- To refer a candidate and to see our current positions eligible for the Employee Referral Program, go to http://www.ruralmetro.com/RecruitTheBesthttp://www.ruralmetro.com/RecruitTheBest - Use your Employee ID and your password that you used when applying to Rural/Metro, or for employees hired before 2011, you should have received a RecruitTheBest email with your login information). If you are still having difficulties loging in, please email us at RecruitTheBest@rmetro.com

Once you login, you will be able to review all the program guidelines. Once you have ensured both your candidate and your eligibility, please click the View Current Referral Opportunities at the bottom of the page.

Please note all referrals must be submitted for a specific open position. Please review the current opening and click on any suitable positions.

When the job opens, please click “Email this opportunity to a friend of colleague”, as only candidates who are referred through this tracking link are eligible for a referral payout.

You now need to enter your referral’s name and e-mail address, and this will email the candidate with the position description and the opportunity to apply. Please ensure that your referral applies through the email link that they receive, as candidates who apply through the general site (and not this link), will not receive any monetary compensation.
