HRRP Update(National) By April 3 rd, enrolment will have started in all 14-affected Districts via one central enrolment center (per District) à support to this is the 1 st priority for the NRA with mason trainings as the 2 nd priority By April 25 th, eligibility lists across all 14 Districts finalized at which point enrolment centers will go live. NGO direct delivery of grants is under discussion at the ministry level NRA’s Request for POs support at district level resource center  POs can send the express of interest or the name of the supporting staff to HRRP.  Logistics support to establish enrolment sites and manage enrolment days  Communications around eligibility, banking mechanism, enrolment day expectations (docs to carry with)  Grievance mechanics  Supporting financial management (i.e., bank account set-up, communicating which banks are participating, docs required to open up the account)  Training of Engineers  Training of Masons  Social mobilization  Establishing construction materials supply chain Government reconfirmed “At this time NGOs will not be allowed to build houses.” Support should be directed to mason training and livelihood support so that home owners can self-recover. Collaboration and Cooperation(Concert Approach) Resolving duplications and filling gaps through collaboration Gorkha Team has been working on methods to ensure a cooperative approach to resolving issues of duplication and gap filling. This process has had certain objectives agreed upon by partners Housing Recovery & Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) HRRP Objectives: To avoid duplication of activities among POs in same specific region and area To avoid dense intervention and to make an effort to extend collective impact To strengthen POs coordination, relation building, effective implementation and mutual understanding To encourage gaps to be filled and a coverage approach with fair and sufficient distribution of resources To maintain uniformity in the reconstruction process, tools, resources and mechanisms
