ROI The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme generates savings per trainee in the tens of thousands of pounds, and retains more trainees than other private and public sector schemes. Scheme Graduates Roles of recent alumni (two to five years off Scheme) include: Programme Manager Senior Finance Manager, Associate Director of HR, Senior Commissioning Manager, Head of Department. Average salary for the 2008 intake (left Scheme in Aug 2010 & Jan 2011) is £33,902. Average NHS salary 2003 intake is £50,000+. 9 trainees from the 2004 intake, who left the Scheme in 2006 have reached Director Level already.
