Building a new, grownup life Parenting = self-doubt in whole new ways Can I really do this? Everyone here is smarter than I am!
13
My journey… continues! My approach today: Manage self-doubt Evolve with it Authenticity Vulnerability Learning Trust (earned and given)

Recognize when self-doubt is helping or hurting you Thoughtful reflection Self-awareness Appropriate risk-taking Identify learning needs Expectations of perfection Fear-based approach Unrealistic comparisons Lost motivation

Gender can play a role (sometimes)
20
Age can play a role (sometimes) Traditionalists: Born before 1946 Baby Boomers: 1946 – 1964 Generation X: 1965 – 1980 Millennials: 1981 – 2000
21
So we all have self-doubt, sometimes. Now what? Get real (embrace your strength and weakness) Practice (like an orchestra conductor) Say it; Do it (get in the mix!) Take risks (do the thing you’re afraid of) Find a mentor… And be a mentor
