June 2009 An Intellectual Property Reminder…  Become familiar with “Terms of Agreements” and “Privacy” links.  Watch for the suggested age use of the site in question.  Can the work being done be borrowed or shared?  Are there restrictions to how you link to the site (wording)?  Become familiar with “opt out” features.

June 2009 Diigo & Delicious… “The tastiest bookmarks on the web!!!”  What is this and why use it???  Diigo and Delicious are social bookmarking sites.  They provide an easy and free option for organizing your favorite websites. You can even import your existing favorites.  Bookmarking sites allow you to access your bookmarks from any computer!

June 2009 Still not convinced???  Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to store, organize, search and manage bookmarks of web pages on the Internet.  In a social bookmarking system, users save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share.  Most social bookmarking services encourage users to organize their bookmarks with informal tags.
