12. Got Work? Make-up Work –It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that all work is made up. –Student must check with me for all make up work –Number of days absent plus one additional day to turn in work. Late Work –Students who turn in late work may receive partial credit.

16. ADVANCED 7 REQUIREMENTS In order to be placed in the advanced program next year……. Must maintain an 90% or better TEST average. AND Other requirements (teacher recommendation, standardized test scores) may also be a factor

17. MATH – How can you help your child be successful? Make sure your child is completing nightly homework PLEASE don’t say, “I was never good at math either.” That often makes it seem like the kids have a “pass.” Check the blog for fun games and videos if your child isn’t proficient Make sure your child is studying for Friday’s quiz/test Use the MSG!! (The study guide for the unit is already there!!) Be knowledgeable of the topics your child is learning, and point them out in everyday situations. Show them math in the “real world” to help them see the relevance. Ask your child to show you what he or she is learning
