2. What does“Halloween” mean?? The word has Catholic origins In the Catholic tradition, in fact, many Saints were dedicated a particular day of the Catholic calendar, but November 1 is the day in which All Saints’ day is celebrated. The day dedicated to "All Saints" (in English All Saints 'Day) was an ancient name: for All Hallows' Day. So, in the past,the celebration of "All Saints" began at sundown on October 31 and thus the evening before the 1st of November was called by the Irish people "All Hallows 'Eve" (Even means evening) which was abbreviated Hallows' Even, then in Hallow-e'en and finally Halloween.

3. What do people do? A tradition coming from the USA, Halloween party is very common among children of all ages. They enjoy dressing up as witches, vampires, monsters. In addition, these children go roaming around the neighbourhood to make the custom of " trick or treat “. If they don’t get any treats, they will frighten people !
