4. Getting started Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ https://www.dropbox.com/

5. Create an account Tip: Use your HCPSS email and you will get more space!

6. Download & Install Dropbox to all of your computers The Mac side will look a bit different!

7. Drag and Drop Files into your Dropbox Once files and folders are done syncing, they will have a green check next to them

8. Good to Know  Whatever you save on one computer’s Dropbox will be saved on EVERY computer on which you have Dropbox!  No more flash drives necessary!  Be careful with large files like photos and music that will eat up your Dropbox space  If you drag and drop lots of files the first time, it may take a few hours to sync

9. Your files are also saved online!

10. You can share your files with anyone! Pick your folder and type in the email address of the shared recipients! The recipients DO NOT have to have Dropbox

Other features  You can upgrade to Dropbox Pro50  50 GB for $99 per year  You can upgrade to Dropbox Pro100  100GB for $199 per year  REFERRALS!  Each Dropbox account is assigned its own link  Send that link to friends and family  The more people that use your link to register = more free Dropbox space for you!

12. One downside at MTH  You save a file in your Dropbox at home the night before work  You arrive at MTH the next day and the Internet is down  You will have access to ALL of your other Dropbox files, except the one you just created  Dropbox must have the Internet and time to sync
