6. Where are we in the district Strategic Operating Plan? The New K-2K-2 Vision Statement All students will read rich, complex literary and informational text independently and proficiently through a guaranteed and viable K-2 Literacy Curriculum. All students will be highly engaged in rigorous and relevant literacy instruction through a student-centered, comprehensive and balanced literacy approach. Students will think creatively as they individually and collaboratively build knowledge through exploration, and analyze concepts, issues, events and themes from diverse perspectives.
