Business purpose and benefits Provides time reporting to comply with federal law System of record for time recording, leave and scheduling Supports scheduling for front line operations 3

Status and Approach to Pilot Agencies Pilot agencies are Department of Ecology and Department of Transportation At Ecology – pushing towards “go- live” Approved design Configuration is nearing completion How is configuration looking? Testing starts March Go-live for pilot group 7/1 Go-live for rest of the agency 9/1 4

What does the Ecology Implementation Provide? Provides for configuration of the federation bargaining unit Core functions for the state Complex funding, labor distribution and mobile access 5

Top Features – from Ecology Payroll Leave balances are real time Prevents staff from using leave they don’t have Full time employees leave is accrued after 80 hours Overtime recognition for all employees Shared leave requests, donations and returns Both the employee and payroll receive notice for overpayments 6

Status and Approach to Pilot Agencies At Transportation we are adjusting the approach with what we have learned Will procure implementation services Transportation completing work on their labor distribution system Provides for configuration of over half of the state collective bargaining agreements “Advanced scheduling” needed for around the clock operations 7

Project observations and challenges Payroll and time accounting are always complex Users believe the application is excellent Mutually agreed with the vendor to change implementation partner for Transportation 8
