What Do My Scores Mean? Your scores are between For the PLAN : 1 and 32 (lowest to highest) For the EXPLORE : 1 and 25 (lowest to highest)

Your Composite Score is simply the average of your test scores in English, Mathematics, Reading,and Science (rounded to a whole number). SubScores English (both PLAN and EXPLORE) Usage/Mechanics-punctuation, grammar and usage, and sentence structure Rhetorical Skills-your understanding of the use of strategy, organization, and style in writing Mathematics (only PLAN) Pre-Alg/Algebra Geometry

How Do My Scores Compare with Those of Other Students Who Took the Test?

Am I on Track? EXPLORE scores as a 9 th grader predict… PLAN scores as a 10 th grader predict… ACT scores as an 11 th or 12 th grader… ALL PROVIDED…. hard work and rigorous courses!

Keep in mind that these scores are only estimates, not guarantees. Improving your study habits and taking more challenging courses are likely to improve your scores.

Recommended College Prep Courses English Four years of English Mathematics Three years of mathematics, including rigorous courses in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II Natural Sciences Three years of science, including rigorous courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Social Studies Three years of social studies Additional Courses Some colleges and universities require other classes as prerequisites for admission, such as two or more years of the same foreign language or courses in the visual arts, music, theater, drama, dance, computer science, etc.
