4 Summary of Funders Agreement Provisions  Who will help pay for Consultant Contract  Review, comment, and acceptance of Deliverables (Contract)  Oversight and day-to-day administration of the funds and Contract  Agreement ends when Contract ends

6 Contract Majority of text will come from a combination of: The RFP Federal’s response KC’s standard contract Terms & Conditions Still room for clarifications, additions, and potentially for very important changes

7 Contract: Four Assumptions  Goal is consensus: Deliverables should be developed using an iterative process;  Consultant must have needed, accurate information;  We want FE’s best independent judgment;  We want more than just FE’s recommendations: also want its findings, alternatives, criteria, and rationale.

10 Contract Provisions: Deliverables  Phase 2: High-level Design Select technologies FE will examine in depth and criteria that FE will use to evaluate these technologies Some of these criteria are in the RFP, some not

11 Contract Provisions: Deliverables  Phase 3: Report Outlines FE will produce outlines for the Technology Report and the Governance and Operations Report
