The term social network was originally coined to distinguish between networks that were used for business purposes and those that were used for socializing. The term has been extended to include interactive websites with message boards, chat rooms or the ability to leave comments and have a discussion with other people.

This Social networking site was created by a Mark Zuckerberg who was a college student at the time. This website was created to help students meet other students in college. By November 2007 Facebook became seen as the single most visited website in the United States, and even throughout the world.

Facebook helps you share and connect with the people in your life, or so the home page of the website tells its millions upon millions of users who sign in every day. You must be at least 13 years old. Some people lie on the register. For example: If your 10 years old you put your age 15 so that will be permanent stay there, and you can’t change your date of birth again.

Facebook requires everyone to be at least 13 years old before they can create an account. Creating an account with false info is a violation of our terms. This includes accounts registered on the behalf of someone under 13. If your underage child created an account on Facebook, you can show them how to delete their account. The time people spend on the computer is growing exponentially. New disorders are popping up due to the specific website created. Student’s grades are slowly but most definitely dropping due to time spent on social networking sites.

We post the wrong photo on Facebook or Twitter and realize it when we wake up the next day after it’s already been share 50 times. We stare at out inbox after sending an important email and wonder why the person hasn’t responded in two hours. If you’re feeling this pain, you might be suffering from a new trend that I like to call “Social Media Anxiety Disorder.” If and know that you’re not alone There are over 2 billion people worldwide on the Internet and over 100 trillion emails are sent every year many of which end up in spam folder.

Facebook is slowly changing American society from an extremely social environment to a social networking dominated computer social life. This is causing the country to become almost more antisocial than before.

And finally, we are becoming a less social groups because of “Social networking sites.” Facebook was created to help people stay in touch, but now the site has changed for the worst. Now I want you to know Don’t put your Phone number, e-mail address, anything personal profile. When someone send you link or saying Oh This is your picture click here and look at it. Don’t click on it if you know that person. It’s usually virus.
