I get awful lonely.” Lennie said, “Well I ain’t supposed to talk to you or nothing.” Lennie knows he shouldn’t talk to Curley’s wife but she still tries to persuade him Curley’s Wife’s dream loneliness Curley’s wife is lower ranked She belongs only to Curley She picks on Lennie- he is lower ranked than her Pg.85

5. Curley’s Wife… “If Curley gets tough, you can break his other han’!” She’s not bothered about what happens to Curley. Giving Lennie bad ideas She knows what actually happened- hard to hide information from Trapped with Curley- nothing she can do about it No real love between them and they only married each other for position and authority
