PROPERTIES OF GLYCINE Molecular formula : C 2 H 5 NO 2 Molar mass : 75.07 g /mol Appearance : white solid Density : 1.607 g/cm 3 Melting point : 233 °C Solubility : water & ethanol
5
PROPERTIES OF ZINC CHOLRIDE Molecular formula: ZnCl 2 Molar mass :136.315 g/mol Appearance :white crystalline solid hygroscopic Odor: odorless Density: 2.907 g/cm 3 Melting point: 292 °C, 565 K, 558 °F Boiling point :756 °C, 1029 K, 1393 °F Solubility : water, ethanol, glycerol, acetone and alcohol
6
OBJECTIVE To synthesis the Glycine Zinc Chloride (GZC) salt using slow evaporation technique. To grow Glycine Zinc Chloride single crystal. Characterizing the crystals by X-ray Diffraction, FTIR and UV-Vis, Optical and Dielectric studies.
7
NONLINEAR OPTICS Non-Linear optics- ‘ Optics of intense light ’ : We are concerned with the effects that light itself induces as it propagates through the medium. The Study of interaction of light in matter
