8. 1. Flame heats air in glass, causing molecules to move/expand. Bubbles appear at base of glass. 2. Flame goes out and air inside glass starts to cool. Molecules move in closer, reducing air pressure inside. 3. Air pressure outside the glass is then greater and so water rises inside the glass. NOTE: Air is not disappearing or burning up in the flame. Air Pressure
