Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Gift Ideas – Serving? Teaching? Encouraging? Giving? Leading? Showing mercy? Shepherding, Evangelism etc… Discovering my gift(s) ◦ Get involved– Jump in somewhere. ◦ What do you especially notice needs done? ◦ What do you enjoy? ◦ Where do others agree you are effective? Cautions ◦ What is your motive? Pride/recognition OR gratitude/grace? ◦ Don’t let your “gift” stimulate a critical spirit of others. ◦ Don’t use your “gift” to avoid other service. ◦ Be patient finding how gift is used. (Don’t demand “jobs.”) ◦ Expect to work at gift, and work on attitude constantly.
