Production + Essay Your own virtual museum Description and reflection of your Production

For the production MUST: -Build your own virtual museum with at least one 3D object digitized by photogrammetry. -Change all of the pictures and captions that the sample has. -Keep the correct aspect ratio of all the pictures. -Adjust the lighting to have the objects and pictures appropriately illuminated. -Build it with a meaningful context. -Build it on the Unity sample project. OPTION (for VG): -Use multiple objects. -Use objects modeled by yourself -Remake the museum rooms -Enhance the functionality by adding code. -Whatever… I will contact you about how you submit later.

For the essay Write a short paper (2 to 4 pages), describing your production entirely in a format of “academic conference paper” style. The paper should include the following aspects of your production: 1.Insights: Describe insights you have gained during the production process. 2.Communication and Information in Context: Describe the relevant aspects of how you have worked with your object contextually. Describe how you connected your object to the context/s that it is a part of and/or that you decided were important for your project. Describe what strategies and specific tools you used to make those connections. (I.e.; target groups, communities, tags, web 2.0 etc.)

Essay format Follow the IMRAD: Introduction Method Result And Discussion A template and an example paper are on a “File area” of the portal. 2 to 4 pages. Use “academic conference paper” style.

Deadline Production + Essay - First deadline: Jan. 12, 13-15 Presentation of your production at the class. - Final deadline: Jan. 19 Submission of final Unity project + essay.
