ONE WAY Classes are made up of only ONE type of student. Those who are identified as English Language Learners. *May also include less than 1/3 non-ELLs. Schools: Gardendale, Roosevelt, LBJ, HB Gonzalez, Cisneros, Stafford, and Perales TWO WAY Classes are made up of TWO types of students. Those who are focused on learning Spanish (non-ELL) and those who are focused on learning English (ELL). Schools: Las Palmas, Loma Park, *Winston and *ET Wrenn Middle School * EISD dual language magnet schools

EISD follows a 90/10 model 90% of the instruction is in Spanish and 10% is in English at the beginning of the program. Gradually more English is integrated which builds language literacy in both English and Spanish by 5 th grade.
