Our company provides complete turn-key engineering and certification services for new aircraft programs, interior refurbishments, modification programs and aerospace tooling design. We also provide quality staffing support for our customers who require our engineers on-site at their facility. Windspeed Technologies is AS9100 certified. Providing advanced composites and metallic aircraft structural engineering services to the aerospace industry – Primary, Secondary, Interiors and Aerospace Tooling design and analysis. Supporting new airplane development on Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner fuselage structures design and analysis for KHI on-site at Boeing in Everett. Offering in-house engineering capabilities to manage “package” work using Nastran/Patran, Abaqus, Femap and CATIA V5. Currently supporting AMRO Fabricating Corp. on multiple tooling design projects. Proficient in the use of advanced materials such as composites and titanium for aircraft structures. In-house, proprietary, advanced engineering methods and tools for aircraft stress analysis of composite and metallic structure. Copyright © Windspeed Technologies 2015 History/Overview Recent Contracts and Clients 2007 - Aviation Partners Boeing Inc. – Windspeed engineers provided engineering support to design state-of-the-art fuel saving winglets for several aircraft models. 2007 - Alaska Airlines – Windspeed engineers provided on-site Reliability engineering support for the airline’s fleet including AOG support. 2010 - Associated Air Center Inc.– Windspeed provides direct placement services for upper level type management positions such as Director of Certification, VPs & DERs, etc. 2011 - Ingenium Aerospace Inc. (Illinois) – Windspeed engineers were on-site providing stress and vibration analysis support for Ingenium’s line of Aerospace products utilizing proprietary engineering tools and software created by Windspeed engineers. 2011 - Garmin Inc. (Oregon) – Windspeed was contracted to supply Garmin with Avionics and flight test engineers to support Garmin’s line of GPS products. 2013 – Andrews Space Inc. (Washington) - Windspeed was contracted to supply Andrews Space Inc. with Thermal Engineers. 2013 – Umbra Cucinetti Inc. Copyright © Windspeed Technologies 2015 2008 – 2014 - Boeing 787-8, -9 and -10 Dreamliner program (Contract with Kawasaki Heavy Industries) – Windspeed executives and engineers are on-site providing composite and metallic aircraft structural engineering support services on Section 45. 2014 – BE Aerospace (Marysville) - Windspeed is approved to supply Design and Analysis Engineers on an as-needed basis. Currently 5 engineers supporting BE/FSI on A350 Galleys. 2014 – The Loads Group (Seattle) - Windspeed is approved to supply structures Design and Analysis Engineering support in our Everett Office on an as-needed basis. 2014 – Zodiac (Everett and Kirkland) - Windspeed is approved to supply Design and Analysis Engineers on an as-needed basis to Zodiac subsidiaries, Northwest Aerospace Technologies and Greenpoint Technologies. 2014 – Aviation Partners Boeing (Seattle) - Windspeed is approved to supply structures Design and Analysis Engineers on an as-needed basis. 2014 – AIS (Mountlake Terrace) - Windspeed is approved to supply structures Design and Analysis Engineers on an as-needed basis. Windspeed hires only the best engineers available in the aerospace Industry. Consultant DERs (Designated Engineering Representatives) who provide guidance to the team for product certification purposes when needed. Windspeed has the ability to rapidly increase the number of engineers as needed to meet new and existing program requirements. Our analyses and reports are recognized by FAA and readily certifiable. High quality and on-time delivery of engineering work. The accuracy of our analysis on 787 program is within 5% of test measured strain. Our contract with Kawasaki was extended to 787-9 and 787-10 programs which reflects the high level of confidence our clients have with Windspeed’s quality of work.

Biography – Shakil Hussain (President) Founder Mr. Shakil Hussain is the President of Windspeed Technologies. He is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the company. Mr. Hussain has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, a diploma in Business Management and over 20 years of experience as a Stress engineer. His experience includes Composite and metallic aircraft structures. He has held the position of Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager and Senior Engineer in the past in the USA and Singapore. Mr. Hussain has worked on several aircraft programs and models including 787-8, 787-9, 787-10, 777-200LR/300ER, 777 VIP Interior Configuration, 747-100 Cargo-Combi Special Freighter Conversion, 747-8 cargo and passenger aircraft, 747-400 aircraft, 737 BBJ, 737 NG system installation, Gulfsteam GIV & GV executive jets, MD80 cargo conversion and DC9 engine hush kit. Biography – Hisashi Ebata (Vice President) Partner Mr. Hisashi Ebata is the Vice President of Engineering at Windspeed Technical Solutions, LLC. His responsibilities include overseeing off-site (KHI) day-to-day engineering operations and schedules and to implement newer engineering methods and tools. Mr. Ebata has a Masters of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Southern California and over 20 years of experience in Aircraft Stress analyses. Mr. Ebata specializes in the analysis of Composite aircraft structure. He has held the position of Senior Stress engineer and Lead Engineer in the past in Japan and USA. Mr. Ebata’s present and past experience include work on the 787-8 & -9 aircraft, providing stacking definition/stress sizing/trade studies of composite laminate stiffened panel structures (Pressure Deck & Wheel Well Bulkhead) using Boeing proprietary tools, P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft, Lockheed L1011 & L1329(Jetstar), 737-700IGW BBJs, BD- 700 Global Express, and Gulfstream III/IV/V, Aeros 40B airship and XF-2/F-2 fighter (Based on F-16 block 40) prototype. Biography – Bruce Stewart (Director of Engineering) Mr. Bruce Stewart is responsible for Engineering Operations in the office, Business Development and Staffing. He has an degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University and 29 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Lead Engineer and Manager. 18 of these years have been supporting Boeing products directly or indirectly. Mr. Stewart started his career at Boeing in 1985 as a Design Engineer in the Propulsion Systems Division supporting all active programs. He later expanded his engineering experience by designing primary structure on a variety of new airplane programs including BR2000 (Puerto Rico), 777 (Seattle), N250 (Indonesia) and ERJ 170/190 (Brazil). Returning to the Seattle area in 2000, he joined D3 Technologies to manage Boeing off-load and Purchased Services (Industry Assist) type projects including 767 Tanker, 787, 747-8, 777F and a variety of smaller BAS/BAC projects. On multiple occasions, he was responsible for providing Boeing with over 150 engineers on multiple programs (on and off-site). After 3 consecutive years achieving “Silver” level of performance, D3 was awarded Boeing 2011 Supplier of the Year. In May 2014, Mr. Stewart joined Windspeed to offer Boeing and other customers lower cost engineering services while maintaining the high quality his customers had come to expect.
