2 State of the Data:  No Datamart  Takes 4-5 X as long to “do data”  Cognos datamart implemented by Sept. 30, 2015  Analytics at least 6-12 months after Cognos  “Falcon score” (see also Univ of KY’s K Score)  Limited Access to Data  IT still providing much of the data  Timeliness of receiving data is a factor

3 State of the Data continued  Limited capacity  1 FT program 100 Research Analyst  1 FT Grant supported Research Analyst  1 PT program 100 Research Assistant, assists with research and SRIs, etc.  Other dedicated Grant funded positions: 2 PT Research Analysts, 1 PT Research Assistant (ACTOn, AB 86/AED, CTE/3SP new)  Growing our own (reducing turn over):  Recruited 4 CSU- LB Psych student interns  Partner with CSU-F C-REAL for 1-2 Graduate student interns begin summer 2015

4 IERP’s DATA TIMELINE PROGRAM REVIEW PRIMARY DATA:  March through early April: Dept. Chair (and faculty, if desire) consult for primary data creation (PR)  April- early May primary data collection (PR)  Late May results to Dept. Chairs (PR) INSTITUTIONAL DATA SET CREATION:  Fact Book (aka Institutional data sets) in progress now through August  Course Success data in progress now through August Institutional Effectiveness, Research, & Planning LC 114 Division Office (Back of Math Learning Ctr) Research request link on the IERP website Or email me: kblackburn@Cerritos.edu for a consult

5 IERP’s DATA TIMELINE Please refrain from PR requests (sorry!) during December- early Feb.
